Oh hello! I'm excited to announce that I am now a weekly contributor to Pikaland! I will be blogging about what I know best: hand drawn typography and art/illustration that involves tea and coffee! I will also attempt to start some dialogue about living the illustrated life, so please, share with us your surroundings! Amy has a few other adorably sweet contributors lined up who will be debuting their posts in the upcoming weeks. Come stop by and say hello. I'll put a pot of tea on.
It's been a weird summer. Everyone in my family has been growing. We each have our own way of keeping our feet on the ground and our head in the clouds, but I've never seen us all do it at once, and in different directions.
August Goals:
1. Release an Underground Art School video Sept. 14th will be Part One. There's 3 parts!
2. Fix visuals on UAS blog
3. Give the UAS community an update [they deserve it] I love them all.
4. Plan some moly x stuff:)
5. Send Mike Perry mail [just 'cause]
6. Sell my limited edition art books [no more prints-selling only o.g.'s and all recent work now in LTD books]
7. Press release-boooooom, moleskinerie Jeff at Booooooom is a nice man!
8. Completely fill my sketchbook for Art House's Sketchbook Library Project
9. Bank $200 in Etsy sales [oooo a challenge-Rachey needs a new iMac]
10. edits, edits, edits, done, done, done!
11. Go to the beach CT beaches suck. Viva la southern Carolina coast!
12. Call my Granma [just keepin' it honest people]
13. Submission to Good Design Book Hope Underground Art School gets in it!
