I definitely just took on too many projects, but I guess I just have to work it out.  It'll be good for my creativity to push myself anyway.  I signed up for a moleskine exchange!  It's my first time doing this.  I opted for the regular moley than a Japanese accordian.  I wrote my name big because it reads: In case of loss please return to:___________  Followed by: Reward: $_______

A bad experience in art school with cross hatching conditioned me to hate it for awhile.  We had to strive for precise perfect lines using a ruler, and frankly that's just not conducive to healthy creating.  Turns out cross hatching is awesome when you do it your way.  Experiencing something personally=always the good teacher you want to get.

Fun!  Look what Amy from Pikaland started!  A new 'zine, a new HELPFUL 'zine.  It's called Good to Know. I wonder if she sleeps?

That name looks familiar, can't put my thumb on it though. Oh well, time to breathe and get back to work.

I make a lot of mistakes when I make zee commercial art. I choose not to make a plan most of the time, something is always off and I have to draw it all over again  I like it this way for some reason, because I keep doing this.

What to do?  Cut up originals that didn't make it the final and make buttons.  Discard the rest (or send it to the Queen).  I have to thank Liz for production. These all came from when I was making the Underground Art School calendar.  Which month was it?

Actually, I think I might sell more of the originals from that project.  Wait, what was the point of this post?  Oh yea, they are in my Etsy shop.  Self promotional blogging feels weird today.

Oh this made my day!  I am having a doubtful day.  I had just finished listening to "Musical ReVoLuTiOn" by Esthero while working.  Which I find inspiring, but at the same time annoyed, because I always realize how much art/design/written/musical crap is fed to the masses.  By crap I mean desire, consumerism, narcissism, fear, lack of honesty the artist has with them self; you know, that old story.  It hurt my brain so I went blog hopping and that's when I arrived at Doodlers Anonymous.  Depending on the day, blog hopping could have been catalyst for more brain pain.  Not today.

80's party this weekend!  Pudding is all set with a talisman fannie pack.  Everything is magical about a fannie pack.  I have my outfit planned out too.  It involves leggings with stars.
